Born April 25, 1900 in Iida City, Nakagawa Seidō (Nakagawa Genzō) studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under Nawa Keidō. During his 50-year career he belonged to the Wafū-kai and was the head of the Blue Frog Society.
